What we do and team overview

The BD&L team is focused on all aspects of the partnering transaction process for Vaccines and Diagnostics including:

• We search and evaluate opportunities including technologies and products ranging from preclinical-stage and clinical-stage candidates as well as later-stage collaboration opportunities
• We manage cross-functional due diligences
• We initiate, negotiate and execute evaluation and collaboration agreements, in-licensing deals, broad partnerships, strategic alliances, equity investments, M&A, and out-licensing partnerships
• We negotiate and execute commercial agreements throughout the world including distribution and supply partnerships
• We manage alliances to ensure that the spirit of agreements is met, that deal-related issues are proactively managed, and executed partnerships realize their full potential
• We solicit, negotiate, and interact with governments and institutions , domestically and internationally, to secure grants and contracts (including government tenders) for the research, development, and manufacturing of pre-pandemic and pandemic influenza vaccines as well as for other certain research-stage infectious disease vaccines and technologies.
